    AMAT Revised 9/30/19 - Now with New Shorter Videos! The name of this course was changed from EMAT to AMAT on 9/30/19. Certificates from the EMAT course remain valid until their expiration date. Skills Covered: The AMAT (Allergy and Anaphylaxis Medication Administration Training) course covers skills that can help you prevent asthma and allergy emergencies. This course covers ONLY administering liquid Benadryl, metered-dose inhalers, and the EpiPen epinephrine auto-injector. These skills are ALSO COVERED in the MAT, MAT IS and MAT First Renewal courses. Format: Online Part 1 (2 hours), Classroom Part 2 (2.5 hours). Successfully completing the AMAT Part 1 online course enables you to print your AMAT Part 1 Completion Certificate, which is required for admission to the AMAT Part 2 classroom course.
