    PALS Provider New Course

    Course Description
    The goal of the Pediatric Advanced Life Support Course is to provide the learner with:. 

    This course includes AHA online precourse work (appx 4 hours) along with an in-person, instructor led course of 8.5 hours. The link to the precourse work is on our links page.

  • Information needed to recognize infants and children at risk for cardiopulmonary arrest
  • Information and strategies needed to prevent cardiopulmonary arrest in infants and children
  • The cognitive and psychomotor skills needed to resuscitate and stabilize infants and children in respiratory failure, shock or cardiopulmonary arrest.

    • Course Length: 16 ½ hours approx., including breaks

    Intended Audience
    The course is designed for medical providers such as physicians, nurses, emergency medical technicians, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and other professionals who may respond to a cardiovascular emergency.
